Beat the Heat

Is it just me, or does it feel like 5 million degrees outside?!

Walking outside lately feels like stepping into an oven... but that doesn't mean we stop living life!

We're still getting outside, taking walks, hiking, practicing yoga, chasing kids, playing pickleball, and soaking up that fresh air.

Just don't forget one important thing... HYDRATION.

When we're sweating, our bodies aren't just losing water—we're also losing important electrolytes that help keep our muscles, nerves, and energy levels working their best.

There are some really great electrolyte products on the market with clean, simple ingredients. But if you're looking for a fresh, homemade option made with ingredients you can actually recognize, this Watermelon Lime Electrolyte Refresher is one of my favorites.

 Naturally sweet from watermelon

 Potassium from coconut water

Fresh lime for a bright citrus kick

A pinch of mineral salt to help replace sodium lost through sweat

No artificial colors.

No mystery ingredients.

Just simple, refreshing goodness.

Save this recipe, make a pitcher, and keep it in the fridge this week—you'll thank yourself after your next workout or afternoon outside!
